NYOH Community Cancer Foundation
Colorectal Cancer Resources
Did you know that colorectal cancer is the second most common cancer diagnosed in New York? Alarmingly, young adults under the age of 50 represent the fastest-growing demographic for new colorectal cancer diagnoses.
Each March, we launch our Colorectal Check Challenge, an effort to raise awareness about colorectal cancer. The following resources are available to explore throughout the year which address risks and symptoms, cancer screening, as well as other items relevant to survivors and caregivers.
Each March, we launch our Colorectal Check Challenge, a month-long campaign spreading the word about the importance of cancer screening, raising vital funds to help local cancer patients, and celebrating survivorship. If you’d like to get involved, please contact Keri Alonzo.
“My commitment at NYOH is to ensure our patients have everything they need, especially during their most vulnerable times. We are grateful for the NYOH Community Cancer Foundation’s support in helping remove financial woes for patients. We couldn’t continue our role without the Foundation, and we cherish the lives we encounter on their journey and hear their stories.”
