The Mechanicville-Stillwater Breast Cancer Walk presented a check for $18,000 to our Foundation last Thursday night! This incredible committee of all volunteers hosted the annual community walk on October 9, raising cancer awareness and funds in memory of Jessica Mitchell, who died in 2008 of breast cancer. We are humbled and grateful for being one of the three organizations to receive proceeds from the Walk, alongside Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center and the American Cancer Society. Thank you to the committee, all of the local business and vendor sponsors, individuals who registered to walk, and Mechanicville and Stillwater residents.
